This typically spells out standard elements such as: ¨ Purpose, tone, and value of your project ¨ Authorized contact person for your organization ¨ Two scheduled opportunities for revision/rewriting ¨ Final deadline ¨ My hourly rate, to be billed for extended consultations, meetings, and additional rewrites ¨ Rush fees, which may apply to jobs with very short deadlines or weekend work ¨ Credit, i.e. whose byline is to appear on the piece ¨ Permitted uses of a commissioned work ¨ Deposit, typically 50% of the project value, required to reserve my time for a project ¨ Terms of payment |
